SCBGP-funded projects must benefit Maine’s specialty crop industry and may not be intended to directly support an individual, business, or organization. This RFA is intended to support projects that strengthen Maine’s specialty crop sector, expand opportunities for Maine producers, and contribute to a more resilient and competitive food system. The program prioritizes projects that advance Maine specialty crop consumption, production, market development, resiliency, workforce capacity, and/or supply chain infrastructure.
