Help us improve invasive species management in Maine!

Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Logo and Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Logo

The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry are preparing a report for the Legislature describing the State’s efforts to prevent and control nonnative species that threaten Maine’s environment. This is to comply with LD 1661: Resolve, Requiring a Review and Assessment of the State’s Invasive Species Management Efforts. The report must also include suggestions for increased collaboration, education, and outreach, as well as projects aimed at the early detection and prevention of invasive species.

If you work or volunteer for a municipality, nonprofit, or other organization involved in invasive species management in Maine, we’d love to hear from you.

Please take this survey by Friday, September 25, to have your feedback considered. The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Thank you for your time and for all the work that you do!
