Farmer to Farmer Conference: Early Bird Deadline Dec. 31

What: MOFGA's Farmer to Farmer Conference

When: February 7-9, 2026

Where: Holiday Inn by the Bay, Portland, ME

The event kicks off with a farm tour and buyer and seller meet-up on Saturday, February 7 and features four blocks of Farmer to Farmer-style sessions on Sunday and Monday, February 8 and 9. There will be time and space for lunch discussions, including one on Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) mentorship opportunities, as well as a beginning farm business meet-up.

Conference sessions include:

  • Normalizing Farm Financials: How We Pay Ourselves
  • Value-added Production and Processing
  • Spotlight on Wholesale Marketing
  • Diversified Pick Your Own Strategies
  • Scaling Up Reduced-Tillage Systems
  • Farmer Holistic Health
  • Annual Plant Production
  • Off-Grid Systems

There will be time and space dedicated to connecting with your fellow farmers during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as the Saturday Evening Farmer Mixer at Allagash and at the Super Bowl Sunday party at the Holiday Inn by the Bay.

Scholarships are available, and if you are currently not certified organic and interested in certifying and would like to attend the Transition to Organic Partnership Program track, you can register for that specific track for free through the general registration form.
