Happy New Year, ACOs!

The end of December brings the deadline for completing your required annual eight hours of ACO training.

Submit your 2024 Training by January 15, all ACOs must submit their 2024 training credits to us via the ACO Training Course Submission Form. Please note that you do NOT need to submit information for the following trainings:

  1. MACA Training Day on April 12, 2024- Thank you to MACA for submitting their attendance list!
  2. AWP Hosted Lunch & Learns
  3. ACO Body Language & Equipment Training at Midcoast Humane Society on March 15 or May 17, 2024
  4. MSSPA Advanced Equine Training on September 19, 2024
  5. Initial or Recertification as an ACO in 2024

REMINDER: Failure to complete the required 8 hours in any year results in a lapse of certification beginning January 1 of the following year. Retaking the ACO Certification Course is the only way to regain certification following a lapse.
