Upcoming Webinars: FSMA Produce Safety Rule Pre-Harvest Agricultural Water Updates

This is your chance to experience a module of the Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training as taught by the creators of the course manual. The Produce Safety Alliance is offering these webinars to everyone who has previously taken the course. The webinars are an update to module 5.1 accounting for the FSMA Produce Safety Rule changes to the requirements for pre-harvest agricultural water (Subpart E). Farms that are subject to the Produce Safety Rule would benefit from this webinar. The 12/4 webinar consisted of 1 hour to go through the slides and 45 minutes of Q&A.

To register, you will need your Grower Training ID number from an email the Produce Safety Alliance sent to everyone who has taken the training that should have been received 11/26. If you did not receive the email and need help finding your ID number, please contact psatrainers@cornell.edu.

Remaining webinars:

The ‘General Resources’ section of the PSA website will be updated to account for the changes to Subpart E but those changes have not happened yet.

Planning on registering for a webinar? The Revised Module 5-1 handout is posted on the PSA website in English and Spanish. We recommend downloading and/or printing the handout before attending a webinar session so that you can follow along and take notes. You may purchase the Revised Module 5-1 booklet by visiting our online bookstore (due to shipping challenges, purchase option only available for participants in the United States).
