Dear Reid State Park visitors,

Regrettably, Reid State Park is temporarily closed until further notice. Recent storms have left our coastal beaches and parks substantially damaged, making some roads and beaches impassable. To compound matters, a forecasted storm on Friday night through Saturday is anticipated to worsen the situation.

In the interest of your safety, we request the public to seek alternative locations away from the coast until we navigate through this cycle of storms. This pause will allow us to assess and respond to the damage, ensuring a safer environment for everyone.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Updates will be shared as we progress to restore and rejuvenate Reid State Park.
