Please join Maine Forest Service and MaineTREE for a Stewardship Forester and Tree Farm Inspector workshop. The workshop will be offered twice in different locations:
- Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the Caribou Bog Trail Center, Orono.
- Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the Lakes Environmental Association, Maine Lake Science Center, Bridgton.
The workshops will run from 9AM-4PM with the option to attend the Stewardship (AM & early afternoon), Tree Farm Inspector training (afternoon), or both.
Who should attend? This workshop is essential for consulting foresters who plan to provide these services to their clients and have not attended a similar workshop or completed a WRAP in the last three years.
The morning agenda will include information on the WoodsWise program, Woodland Resource Action Plans, and lunch. Following the afternoon break, participants will have the option to attend Tree Farm Inspector training, presented by Logan Johnson of MaineTREE.
Refreshments and Lunch: Coffee will be provided, and lunch will be offered at no cost to participants attending both morning and afternoon sessions.
Continuing Education Credits: We are currently obtaining LF credits from SAF (Society of American Foresters), which will be sent to your email upon completion of the workshop.
Supporting Partners: This project and event have been made possible through a grant from the USDA Forest Service.
