New Maine Geologic Fact and Locality Available

The Maine Geological Survey (MGS) is pleased to announce the latest Maine Geologic Fact and Locality (GFL) release. The Step Falls Preserve in Newry, ME is a favorite place to cool off on a hot summer day, but is also a great place to observe bedrock and glacial geology features. Visitors can see different types of granite, deformed rocks, the power of glacial meltwater, and scenic views.
