An in-person Comprehensive IPM Training will be held on Friday, April 21 at Warsaw Middle School (Pittsfield) from 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM (with an optional time to take the Online Coordinator Exam followed by a brown bag lunch from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM).
This training will cover all materials needed in order to complete the Comprehensive IPM Exam. You can find all trainings and information on the Training and Events Page of the school IPM website.
All school IPM Coordinators are required to:
- Complete the Initial Training Module within 30 days of appointment
- Complete the Comprehensive IPM Training
- Annually obtain at least one hour of BPC-approved continuing education
This workshop qualifies for items #2 and #3 on this list (upon completion of the online IPM Coordinator Comprehensive Exam), and all participants should come having already taken the initial training module.
If you plan to attend the workshop, register before Friday, April 14. Registrants will receive an agenda and directions via email on April 18.
In addition to this workshop, we will be hosting more in-person workshops moving forward. We are looking for a host for this summer for a turfgrass demonstration. Please reach out to me if you would like to schedule a workshop to be hosted at your school. Thank you for all you do!
