Hemp Program Applications Open to Growers

AUGUSTA - The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry's Division of Animal and Plant Health announced today that it is accepting new indoor or outdoor hemp production applications. Those interested in applying for a license to grow hemp in Maine can begin the process by reviewing the Application Instructions. Chapter 274 Rules for Growing Hemp, and many other related application and grower resources, are available on Maine's Hemp Program webpage.
