2022 Election Results – What Just Happened, What Does it Mean?
Please join us on Thursday, November 10th to hear about the results of the 2022 election at both the state and national level. With so many issues important to the forest products industry dependent upon who controls the legislatures (and governorship), we’ll have top forest industry political analysts present the election results (at least as much as we know at that point, 2 days after voting) and what that might mean for forest landowners, mills and loggers.
Pat Rita of Orion Advocates is a lobbyist for the Forest Resources Association in Washington, DC, and he’ll be joining us virtually to speak about elections at the federal level – who controls the House and Senate, what that means for committee leadership and how that might impact issues the forest industry cares about.
Michele MacLean of Capitol Strategies is a lobbyist for the Maine Forest Products Council. She will be speaking on the results of the Maine Governor and legislative races, and what that might mean for issues that matter to the forest industry supply chain and manufacturers.
This is a great opportunity to get insights from two leading political analysts that have decades of experience with the forest products industry. So much relies on good public policy, and this is a perfect opportunity to get insight into what is coming in the next few years.
