The Maine Office of Tourism is seeking your ideas!

The Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry asks for your help to please share this opportunity with Maine's agricultural community. Including:

  • Farmers and agritourism operators,
  • U-Pick, PYO, Choose & Cut sites, farmstands, 
  • Maine Maple Weekend, Open Farm Day, Cheese Festival, Apple Day, Fiber Tour & Trail, Open Creamery Day, etc., participants,
  • Farmers' markets, agricultural fairs,
  • Trade groups, and anyone else involved in Maine agritourism.

How to offer ideas

  • The Maine Office of Tourism will host a series of Town Hall Visioning Summits
  • Attend any or all—your choice—of the sessions. They are not region-specific.
  • In-person and online sessions are available.

The Maine Office of Tourism launched a project to develop a statewide Destination Management Plan in 2022. The outcome will be a five-year strategic plan to set goals for the future. Read about the process.
