Would you like to sign up for Open Farm Day?

Now is the time! This annual event happens the fourth Sunday in July (7/24/2022 this year). There is no fee to join promotions, but you must opt in via Real Maine.

The sign up steps differ for those with who currently have a listing, and those who don't. Please, start here:

• Not sure if you have a listing? Take a look - search for your farm on RealMaine.Com
• For those who already have a member listing 
• For those who do not have an account or member listing

If you already have a Real Maine listing - how to sign up

You can update your profile when you log into the Member Portal 

After login: Click "profile update" link Click edit my profile button A menu screen will pop up Select Farm and Business Features Scroll to EVENTS (use the image at the right for example)  A blue box with a white check mark means you opt in to the event Review the other menu areas (e.g., General Information, Online Listing Social Media). Refresh (add, remove, edit) information if needed. Save and submit! ** **Red asterisks displaying on screen denote missing or incomplete information, and will prevent you from saving and submitting until corrected. Feel free to use the How - To materials or email Real Maine if you need help.

If you don't have a Real Maine listing - how to sign up

Avoid a duplication - Double check to see if you're already listed on RealMaine.com Join Real Maine and sign up for Open Farm Day Add all the required information Submit your information You will receive a membership confirmation and approval (typically within one to three business days) After your membership approval you may log into the Member Portal to make additional updates** **Feel free to use the How - To materials or email Real Maine if you need help.

About the Open Farm Day Promotions

• Opt in deadline to be included in print promotions is May 1, 2022.
• Print promotions: features your business name, town and contact info in our summer our publication. (View 2021 for reference.) 
• You may also submit an event for the Real Maine event calendar. (You can submit community events via the member portal.)
• Real Maine promotes the statewide event with print, radio, web and news stories to encourage visitors to meet participating farms on Open Farm Day.
