Maine Woodland Owners is working with Maine TREE Foundation, on behalf of Keeping Maine’s Forests, to develop a user’s guide to Maine’s Tree Growth Tax Law. The guide will provide an overview and offer clarity on some of the frequently asked questions that different stakeholders have raised about the program. The goal of this guide is to provide accurate information about the law and its implementation, make implementation of the law more consistent, and thereby increase understanding and support for its use.
We are looking for input from stakeholders like you to help with the development of this guide and so we are asking for your time to complete a short survey about your understanding and view of Maine's Tree Growth Tax program. Your responses will be essential to help us make sure that all essential information is in this guide. Your feedback will be aggregated with that of others and would not be attributable to you in the guide’s development.
