Temporary Steel Bridges Webinar: Modular Solutions for Temporary Forest Roads & Other Applications, 2-Part Series

Free webinar hosted by the New England Regional Council on Forest Engineering (NER.COFE) and presented by the Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance

Dates and Times:

Friday, March 26, 2021 • 12:30 – 1:30 PM ET (TOMORROW)
Friday, April 2, 2021 • 12:30 – 1:30 PM ET

Overview:

Temporary steel bridges provide a rapid, flexible, durable and cost-effective solution for a variety of sites requiring a temporary crossing. These structures can be used to provide detours to direct traffic around road construction sites during bridge replacement, repair, or in emergency situations. Temporary steel bridges also allow safe and efficient access for workers, heavy off-road vehicles, machinery, and equipment.

In cooperation with the Council on Forest Engineering, members of the Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance (SSSBA) will present a “not too technical” 2-part webinar series that covers the cost-effective design, installation, maintenance, and use of temporary steel bridges.

NER.COFE will provide 1 category 1 forester licensing credit with both the State of Maine and SAF (Society of American Foresters).
