"Harvesting Maine" video series to launch—  participants wanted!

Dear Maine Agricultural Producers:

“Harvesting Maine,” a new video interview series, helps people meet Real Maine members. The series of casual video interviews launches spring 2021. It showcases farmers, growers and producers who work to make a variety of Maine agricultural products available and accessible year-round. 

If you’re a Real Maine member with first-hand experience in Maine agriculture, and you’re willing to showcase your work to help people learn why agriculture matters — consider this opportunity!

Requirements:

  • Real Maine membership.
  • Email a completed bio (see below) by deadline. 
  • Comfortable with public speaking. 
  • Willing to be on an interview panel—published on social media and RealMaine.com. 
  • Knowledge of, and comfortable discussing, your business and farm products. 
  • Estimate committing two hours of time—60 min. interview, 60 min. prep.
  • Can share digital images (or video) of your operation from different seasons.
  • At a minimum need a computer, phone or tablet with internet, and audio microphone. 
  • Willing and able to showcase Maine agriculture positively and professionally.
