As of 1/2/21, the following ice thicknesses were recorded: South end of Chamberlain Lake = 4 inches. Round Pond has 4-5 inches along the shore. Allagash Lake has 8-10 inches along the shore. The centers of the lakes have thin ice or have open water. In areas where there is current or springs there is open water. There is 8 inches of snow on most access trails.
