Popham Beach State Park Conditions

- We have reached our capacity at 11:00AM. No walk-in patrons will be permitted at this time. We will only be letting twenty vehicles in for every twenty that go out. We advise finding another location to go to for the day.

- There should be lighter lines by 3:00PM. - Curtailed Services Advisory - Popham Beach State Park and Forts are open to the public, hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., unless otherwise posted.

- The park will only be allowing 50 % capacity at any one time. Please have a plan B, if the park is full. parking is not permitted on private roads or road side unless directed by park officials. Violators will be ticketed and towed at owners expense.

- Park access may change without notice. We want to assure our guests that we are monitoring the situation closely and doing all we can to protect our staff and the public.

- Trails, forts, and beach front are open. Flush bathrooms are still open with half the stalls.

- Dogs must be on a leash and are no longer allowed on the beach, until October 1 - For more information please call the park: 207-389-1335
