MESAS Seeks Farmer Input

MESAS 9/9-10/20 meeting

The Maine Sustainable Agriculture Society and co-sponsors the Hancock County and Central Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District Offices, and MOFGA are requesting farmer and farm service provider participation in a webinar on Maine Greenhouse and Agriculture Infrastructure scheduled for September 8th, 9:00am OR a repeat program on September 10th, 4:30pm to accommodate varying schedules and availability of interested farmers and farm service providers.

You can find our official announcement and sign up information here, and the webinar agenda here.

Participants are encouraged to read through the SYRA Program Final Report here, which will be part of the presentation during the webinar.

Participation will help guide efforts toward socially equitable and profitable farm infrastructure across the state - especially for those targeting extended season or year round markets, and covered infrastructure such as high-tunnels and climate battery systems.
