Virtual Workshop

MOFGA Farmer to Farmer in the Field: Dealing with Stress 
Tuesday, May 12, 5 pm - 6 pm

This meeting is free and hosted on Zoom. All farmers, farm staff and those who serve agriculture are welcome. 

Event description: One-hour session with farmers. A brief presentation followed by group conversations in breakout rooms, with discussion about stress and coping strategies. 
MOFGA staff and the following farm coaches will lead the workshop:

  • Karen Groat is Director of Family and Community Mediation.
  • Leslie Forstadt is the Human Development Specialist with UMaine Cooperative Extension, Director of the Maine Agricultural Mediation Program.
  • Polly Shyka co-owns and operates Villageside Farm.
