Real Maine Marketing Materials Available

We’ve been hearing from farmers and food producers all over Maine who are coping with the changing circumstances of our public, health, and business worlds. It’s a busy time of year under typical circumstances, but this year everyone is busier than ever adapting to the requirements of the civil emergency.

At the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry we’ve been working to develop guidance documents, contacts, and other resources to be of assistance. See our COVID-19 page to find many of these resources: https://www.maine.gov/dacf/covid19/

Real Maine Hang Tags

Meanwhile, we have been continuing to work on the rollout of our refreshed marketing campaign, now known as Real Maine. Those of you who have been listed in our online directory in the past will soon be receiving emails from us asking you to update your information prior to the launch of our new website in the next month. The new Real Maine website will be a resource for consumers, distributors, institutional buyers, and others who are seeking connections with Real Maine producers. Please stay tuned for that opportunity to update your contact information so your business can be included when the new website launches. Thereafter you’ll be able to update your listing as often as you prefer.

Real Maine Stickers

Lastly, we wanted to let you know that most of the Real Maine branded marketing materials are now in stock, including small stickers, hang tags, market aprons, and shopping totes. For the time being, the only way to order these is by mail using this form.

In the coming months, the Real Maine items will also be available online. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as this new option is available. Stay tuned for the beginning of the Real Maine promotional campaign as well.

Thank you for all you are doing, and please keep in touch!
