Agricultural Trades Show

The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (DACF) interest form for the 2021 Maine Ag Trades Show is open.

Those with an interest to sublease space at the 2021 show are invited to complete the online form. DACF will use the responses to select participants and assign conference, booth, and presentation spaces, and plan the show.

What do you need to submit?

  • Contact Information — Who are you, and how can show organizers contact you? 
  • Presentation Stage —  Do you want to use the main stage to present or showcase current agricultural topics, trends and resources? 
  • Spaces for Exhibiting — Do you want  to have an exhibit booth to feature supplies, equipment and/or resources in agriculture?
  • Conference Session Space— Do you want to offer training about topics in agriculture, technical assistance, and/or annual meetings?
  • Animal/youth education exhibit — Do you want to setup an interactive educational display about agriculture?
  • Pitch an idea — Do you want to share an event idea with show organizers?

Who should complete the form?

  • Anyone with an interest in renting exhibition space, rooms for the conference portion, the interactive agricultural exhibit, and/or presenting on the demonstration stage, is encouraged to complete the form.
  • All past participants, and those who have not participated.
  • The form is open to the public, businesses, organizations and other supporters and promoters of agriculture.

When does the selection process begin?

  • Selections begin late summer, early fall 2020.
  • From the submitted information, DACF will announce award selections for exhibit and conference spaces, and plan the upcoming show. 

What are the purposes of the Maine Ag Trades Show?

  • Provide a venue for networking about current topics in agriculture and identify business connections.
  • Introduce and/or provide continual technical training about agriculture as it relates to Maine farms.
  • A multi-day forum to showcase the role of agriculture in Maine and ways to support it year-round.

Reminders and tips:

  • Please bookmark the show webpage via your preferred web browser, and check routinely for updates and show news. 
  • Are you a dealership with national contacts, and  local businesses and/or sales reps? It is recommended to add the local sales rep or contact to either the primary or secondary email address so they receive updates. They should also subscribe to trades show news. 
  • Those interested in the show are encouraged to subscribe to email notices. This includes team members who might share roles with event updates. News updates are sent from DACF@subscriptions.maine.gov.(Note: email address is for outgoing email; incoming email is not monitored.) 
  • If any of the five categories areas are of interest, submit one form and on behalf of a primary contact; there is space to add secondary contact info. 
  • The form is the first step to communicate your interest as a potential show participant. Submitting the form does not guarantee availability of space. Show management does not guarantee it will be able to accommodate all interested parties, and/or all request(s) of interested parties.
