The 2020 Maine Agricultural Trades Show occurs Tuesday, January 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday January 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday, January 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center, Augusta Maine.

Maine Farmers’ Market 2020 Convention

Thursday, January 16, 2020, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Augusta Civic Center, Washington/York & Piscataquis/Sagadahoc Rooms

The Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets is hosting the Maine Farmers’ Market 2020 Convention on January 16, 2020, upstairs during the third day of the Maine Agricultural Trades Show. The Convention is an opportunity for direct marketing farmers, community organizers, service providers, and professionals to connect and learn from one another about some of the most pressing issues and opportunities for farmers’ markets in Maine.

The 2020 Convention Keynote is a presentation on the Farmers Market Legal Toolkit, by Darlene Wolnik, from the Farmers Market Coalition.The Farmers Market Legal Toolkit is an online, open-source resource addressing some of the greatest legal concerns voiced by farmers’ market managers across the US.
