Greetings,

The Board of Pesticides Control will be hosting a Hemp Meeting & Round-Table Event on December 13 from 8am-12:30pm at the Deering building in Augusta. This program is approved for four pesticide recertification credits. There is no fee to attend but pre-registration is required (see link below).

8:00 to 8:30 AM – Gary Fish, State Horticulturist, Rule Changes & How to Get Licensed in Maine

8:30 to 10:00 AM – Dr. John Jemison, UMaine Cooperative Extension, Hemp Agronomy

10:00 AM to 10:15 AM Break: Light Refreshments will be served

10:15 to 10:45 AM –  Dr. Kathy Murray, State of Maine Entomologist,  Hemp IPM

10:45 to 11:00 AM – Mary Tomlinson, Registrar, Pesticide Products Registered for Hemp in Maine

11:00 to 11:15 AM – Dr. Pam Bryer, Toxicologist,  Review of Hemp-Registered Products in Maine

11:15 to 11:30 AM – John Pietroski, Maine Board of Pesticides Control – BPC Update
