Summer is here! These are a few reminders before visiting the beach

- Gates open at 9 AM and close at sunset seven days a week.

- Come early, Popham often fills all parking spaces on busy days.

- If a park staff asks you to continue down the road, it is because parking is full.

- There are three alternative parking lots beyond Popham Beach entrance. Any cars blocking the road or parked in a No Parking zone will be towed

- All areas are carry in carry out. Please be courteous and leave no trace.

- Roped off areas are restricted to the public, and can be subject to fine upon entry. Roped off areas protect endangered nesting shorebirds and sensitive dune growth.

- Kites and bicycles are currently not permitted on the beach due to endangered nesting shore birds.

- Life-jackets are not permitted on surf beaches due to strong off shore currents

- All natural areas are to be left undisturbed. Please do not knowingly take nature from the beach (i.e.. Sand, drift wood, plants, etc.)
