Notice of Hearing
WHAT: On December 19, 2017, the Land Use Planning Commission (Commission) voted
to hold a public hearing as part of its certification review of Central Maine Power’s proposed New England Clean Energy Connect (NECEC) Project. Notice of the hearing was provided in accordance with applicable State laws and rules.
The Commission held its hearing on April 2, 2019, in Farmington, Maine, as part of a
joint hearing with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. The hearing will be continued on May 9, 2019. Members of the public are welcome to attend this continuation
of the hearing, but testimony will only be heard from the Applicant and those parties
granted Intervenor status.
WHEN: The Commission’s hearing will be held on May 9, 2019, as part of a joint hearing with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. The hearing will begin at 8:00 a.m.
WHERE: The hearing will be conducted at the Cross Insurance Arena, 515 Main Street, Bangor, Maine.
