Range Pond Park Conditions

12/01/2018 09:03 AM EST
- The pond froze over last week, the earliest in recent memory. The ice is not safe, please give mother nature time to thicken up. There is no use of live bait for ice fishing, until January 1st.

- The snow pack is minimal and crusty. Trails are snow covered, but we can not groom yet. Perfect for walking and snowshoeing.

- Deer hunting season is winding down. The last day of deer season is Saturday, December 8th. Wearing bright colors is recommended.

- Don't forget to get your park pass and early entry fishing pass! The park is open year-round. Park hours 9 AM until Sunset. Park gates are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The public is still welcome to walk into the park on those days. Please do not block the gate.

- Please call the park at 998-4104 for more information.
