- Fall colors have mostly slipped away for the year. But it is still a great time to enjoy our trails and beach without the crowds. Dogs are now allowed on the beach, but on a leash.

- Hunting season is upon us and youth day for deer hunting is this Saturday the 20th. The regular firearms season starts October 27th. Wearing bright colors is recommended.

- Don't forget to get your park pass! The park is open year-round. Park hours 9 AM until Sunset. Park gates are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The public is still welcome to walk into the park on those days. Please do not block the gate.
