New Material Available for Review
Adjacency Principle and Subdivision Rule Reviews

As part of the Land Use Planning Commission’s review of the adjacency principle, which is a first screen for where new development zones can locate in the LUPC service area, and review of its subdivision layout and design standards, additional material relating to draft rule revisions is now available for review on the Land Use Planning Commission’s website.

These materials include the following:

  • Staff memo and revised report on considerations for rezoning near lakes in the Commission’s service area.
  • Staff memo and Part 1 of draft rules, including language from the pre-rulemaking draft of the Subdivision Layout and Design Standards combined with parts of the first draft of the Adjacency rule, revised in response to comment.
  • Staff memo and map, with a preview of Part 2 of the draft rules, including primary and secondary locations, and discussion of next steps.
