The Johansons will
highlight the equipment needed and the benefits and challenges they have
experienced using low-till farming practices and cover crops in organic vegetable
production.
Mark Hutton,
UMaine Extension professor at Highmoor Farm, will be on hand to share lessons learned from an ongoing northeast regional research project.

about their ecology, and discuss how you can get involved in pollinator
conservation efforts – with a focus on how to successfully establish wildflower
plantings for pollinators.
