Range Pond Park Conditions

02/09/2018 08:24 AM EST
The skiing and walking trail have been groomed. The lake side portion of the trail still has a few bumps because we only received 8 inches of fine powder, the rest of the trail is great. Please use caution driving in the park, the ice is covered with snow in some places. Walkers and dogs please stay on trail designated for walkers. The trails start in the last parking lot. ROYAL RIVER ICE FISHING DERBY THIS Saturday, Feb. 10th, 7AM-3PM, put on by the Royal River Rod and Gun Club. This is different from our kids derby on March 3rd. Tickets can be purchased day of the event or at Dag's Bait Shop and the Royal River Rod and Gun Club. We welcome snowmobilers to use the park as a park and ride location. The Ski Trailer will be here Sunday mid-morning until early afternoon. The ice fishing has remained strong. Fish close to shore for the Brook Trout. 2018 State Park Passes are available for purchase and immediate pick-up at Range Pond State Park. Remember, we are open year-round, and that means you get the most bang for your buck with a season pass. We are open 9 A.M. till Sunset. Park gates are CLOSED on Tuesday and Wednesday, but users can still come into the park, but please do not block the gate. We are now selling our 2018 early entry passes for boating and ice fishing. Please call the park at 998-4104 for more information.
