Please join the Upper Kennebec Valley chapter as we go on a
mushroom foray with mycologist Michaeline Mulvey of the Maine Mycological
Society. Michaeline has led a few of these for our chapter and she is
full of great information. She will lead us on a foray that will
include identification, an explanation of a mushrooms’ place in the forest
ecosystem, and ethical harvesting. Bring questions and mushrooms. Be
prepared for bushwhacking. Also useful: basket, knife, paper bags, hand lens,
notebook, field guide. Meet at Somerset County Extension office, between
Margaret Chase Smith Library and KVCAP office at 7 County Drive off the Back
