Recreational Trails Program
This season the Grants and Community Recreation Program will offer five regional grant workshops. These workshops are primarily intended to provide an overview of the Recreational Trails Program and the kind of trail related work that RTP can assist with. Information about the Land and Water Conservation Fund and the Maine Conservation Corps will also be discussed as time allows.
From these workshops attendees should leave with the following:
- An overview of the Recreational Trails Program
- Knowledge of RTP sponsor and project eligibility.
- An overview of the application and application process.
- RTP Application tips.
- An overview of the reimbursement process.
- An overview of LWCF sponsor and project eligibility.
- An overview of MCC's ability to assist with trail projects.
Note that attendance at these workshops is not a requirement for application but offered instead as a way for applicants to increase their chances for funding.
