Hills Comp. High School South

If
you own a woodlot and are interested in learning about opportunities to
actively manage your property for your own personal objectives, this is a
course you should attend. Woodlot owners in Maine manage their woodlots for a
number of different reasons: aesthetics, firewood, maintaining the health and
value, recreation, wildlife, and forest products. Chandler Buie, a forester
with Prentiss & Carlisle, will facilitate the course and organize
presentations from a number of experienced foresters with different
backgrounds. The information and contacts you gain from this course will help
you make decisions on how to sustainably manage your woodlot for years to come.
The class will meet on the following Monday evenings listed below from 6 to 8
pm at Oxford Hills Comp. High School. This course is sponsored by the Oxford
County Soil and Water Conservation District and Prentiss & Carlisle.
Registration is required. Please register for the course by calling Oxford
Adult Education at 207-743-8842. If you have questions about this course please
contact Chandler Buie by calling 207-949-0077 or emailing him at cebuie@prentissandcarlisle.com.
