As we recognize the Month of the Military Child, the Maryland DVMF Women Veterans and Inclusion Program proudly honors the strength, resilience, and sacrifice of military-connected children, especially those supported and led by women veterans and military families across our state.
Military children serve in their own unique way. They navigate frequent moves, changing schools, and the absence of loved ones during deployments, all while demonstrating remarkable adaptability and courage. Their experiences shape not only their futures, but also the strength of our military and veteran communities.
Together, we celebrate the young heroes behind the uniform, the military children who continue to inspire us through their resilience, strength, and unwavering spirit.

For military families, spring and summer mark the height of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) season—a time filled with both opportunity and uncertainty.
