As we celebrate Talbot County’s 365th anniversary, and the nation’s 250th, we hope you’ll join us for Talbot Day on Sunday, April 26.

This year’s celebration is especially meaningful. It’s not just about marking a date. It’s about recognizing the people who continue to shape Talbot County every day.

Talbot Day 2025 Citizen and Services Awards nominees included educational leaders, public servants, mentors, and more. April 25, 2025.

We encourage you to arrive at 4:00 p.m. for the Citizen & Service Awards. These awards honor volunteers, mentors, and community leaders whose contributions often happen quietly, but leave a lasting impact.

After the ceremony, stay for the celebration beginning at 5:00 p.m.—an old-fashioned ice cream social with music, activities, and time to connect with neighbors. Enjoy ice cream from the Scottish Highland Creamery, lawn games, crafts, Touch-a-Truck, and live music from Janie Meneely and Rob van Sante.

Talbot County’s story is 365 years in the making—but it continues through moments like this, when the community comes together.
