Take a historical journey back in time to learn about Spanish exploration in the New World in MPT’s online inquiry kit. Students build understanding around this pivotal time in history and gain document analysis skills as they examine primary source documents, maps and images from the Library of Congress.

As a primary source, the U.S. Constitution represents a key document in social studies classes. It is also the basis for secondary sources such as textbooks. In MPT’s interactive activity, students analyze the relationship between a primary and secondary source to examine the connections between constitutions of the world.

The Daniel Tiger Movie

PBS KIDS will premiere the first-ever movie from DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD. In the movie WON’T YOU BE OUR NEIGHBOR?, a new family has moved to the neighborhood of Make-Believe. It’s up to Daniel and his community to welcome the family, forging new friendships. Additionally, two new episodes from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood will debut the week of September 17.
