An important part of teaching is helping students identify their interests and skills as they progress along the pathway to colleges and careers. Use the following activities to help students hone in on the future.

Career and Technology Education Month: March

Port

The Port
The Port of Baltimore is a thriving transportation system that concentrates on the movement of goods and people. Use MPT's interactive exploration the "Port" to help students gain insight into careers and technologies at Maryland’s bustling hub. Activities and lessons are correlated to Maryland Career Clusters.

Energy

The impact that human activity has on the environment is the focus of MPT’s interactive STEM module. Videos featuring scientists and engineers working on the job help students make the connection between STEM learning and quality careers.
