Breaking Heroin’s Grip: Road to Recovery Saturday, February 11, 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Heroin has taken a grip on our region. To address this harrowing epidemic, MPT produced a special documentary film featuring the personal stories of three Maryland residents battling with an opioid use disorder. The program concentrates on the subjects’ individual struggles and recovery from addiction.
The 40-minute documentary will be followed by a 20-minute live phone bank offering viewers expert information about treatment. The program will be simulcast by more than 25 radio and television stations in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Washington DC, and streamed online.
