throughout the program.

 American Graduate Day
2016 | 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm Join MPT for a live four-hour broadcast featuring individuals and organizations dedicated
to helping youth stay on a positive path toward high school graduation. Meet
extraordinary youth overcoming difficult obstacles to succeed in school and
life, and hear from mentors working diligently to enhance educational outcomes
and opportunities for students and youth.
Throughout the broadcast, MPT will air short segments featuring local youth, non-profit organizations, and American Graduate Champions making a difference in Maryland.

Special guests including new Maryland State Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Karen B. Salmon, will appear on MPT's Public Affairs programs throughout Spotlight Education Week. Local education experts and leaders will discuss current topics in education with MPT program host, Jeff Salkin.
