District 5 launched District 5 Futures Program with The College Gurl Foundation
In March, we launched the District 5 Futures program in partnership with The College Gurl Foundation. This program will include college tours, college and career readiness training, and other opportunities for youth and young adults to benefit from. Over 45 students were part of our inaugural District 5 Futures College Tour. Students visited Morgan State University, Virginia State University, and North Carolina Central University. In District 5, we really believe that the children are our future and in the words of the late Whitney Houston, we will teach them well and let them lead the way.
