Message from Council Member Sydney Harrison...
November reminds us to slow down, reflect, and give thanks for the many blessings in our lives. It’s a time to appreciate the strength of our families, the kindness of our neighbors, and the unity that holds our community together. As we move through this season of gratitude, we recognize how far we’ve come and how much stronger we are when we work together.
In District 9, we continue to build on that spirit of togetherness. Every conversation, community event, and shared effort brings us closer to creating a brighter, more connected future for everyone. When we support one another — whether through volunteering, lending a hand, or simply showing kindness — we strengthen the foundation of who we are as a community.
As we celebrate this season of thankfulness, let’s carry that same energy forward into every day that follows. Together, we can continue making District 9 a place where gratitude, service, and progress shine year-round.
Warm regards, Council Member Sydney Harrison Prince George’s County – District 9
