Thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent announcement of the District 8 Senior Support Fund. Your presence and support made the event truly special.

This historic nearly $5 million investment, funded by casino impact dollars from MGM National Harbor, is our way of honoring your lifetime of hard work and dedication. The District 8 Senior Support Fund is designed to ensure that our seniors can continue to age in place with dignity, and stability. The program provides essential assistance with property taxes, mortgage payments, rental support, utility bills, and grass cutting services. If you or a loved one could benefit from this initiative, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Senior Support Fund Office at 301-888-0463.

As we continue our mission to serve, I’d also like to invite you to two upcoming events:

• Veterans Resource Fair – Join us on Wednesday, July 30th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at American Legion Post 248. In partnership with Delegate Kent Roberson and Vice Chair Krystal Oriadha, this fair will offer important county, state, and federal resources for veterans and their families.
• UniverSoul Circus – Come experience the magic "Under the Big Top" at the National Harbor on Thursday, July 31st at 7:00 PM, where I’ll proudly serve as Guest Ringmaster for this fun-filled night for all ages.

Residents of District 8 who live within a six-mile radius surrounding the MGM Casino can attend Prince George's Community College TUITION FREE! To date, $2 million has been allocated to the Local Impact Grant/Scholarship Funding at Prince George's Community College just for you. I need your help to spread the word to our District 8 neighbors! When MGM Casino was built, a portion of the gaming and tax revenue was dedicated to the surrounding community through the MGM Local Impact Grant Fund. CLICK ON THE PICTURE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
