Water Main Replacement Projects
Council Member Sydney J. Harrison invites the community to an important in-person update and Q&A session regarding the Old Branch Avenue and South Osborne Road Water Main Replacement Projects. This meeting will provide critical information on the progress, impact, and next steps for these infrastructure improvements. Residents are encouraged to attend on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Douglass High School, located at 8000 Croom Road, Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Featured partners for this event include WSSC Water and Prince George’s County Public Schools.

District 9 Bulk
Trash & Shred Day
Council Member Sydney J. Harrison invites District 9 residents to participate in Bulk Trash & Shred Day on June 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Clinton Baptist Church, located at 8701 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD. This event offers an opportunity to dispose of approved bulk items, including sofas, dressers, tables, mattresses (covered in protective encasements), and more. Items such as refrigerators, air conditioners, hazardous waste, and construction materials will not be accepted. TVs can be dropped off at the landfill Thursday through Saturday.
