Autism Awareness Month
April is Autism Awareness Month!
This month, we recognize and celebrate the incredible strengths, talents, and contributions of individuals with autism. It is also a time to promote understanding, acceptance, and support for those on the spectrum and their families.
Let’s work together to create inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Whether through advocacy, education, or simply listening with empathy, we all have a role to play in fostering a more accepting world.
Sincerely, Council Member Sydney J. Harrison Prince George’s County, District 9
