Women's History Month
This Women’s History Month, we celebrate the incredible achievements, resilience, and contributions of women past and present who have shaped our communities, our nation, and our world. From trailblazers in politics and business to leaders in education, healthcare, and activism, women have played a vital role in driving progress and inspiring change.
Let’s take this time to uplift and honor the women in our lives, recognize their impact, and continue working toward a future where equality and opportunity are truly for all. Thank you to the strong women of Prince George’s County and beyond for your leadership, courage, and dedication.
Sincerely, Council Member Sydney J. Harrison Prince George’s County, District 9

WSSC Water Conservation Tips
Looking to lower your water bill and conserve water? A leak is often the culprit, but small changes can make a big difference! Indoors, check for toilet leaks, install water-saving devices, and take shorter showers. Avoid using your toilet as a trash can and opt for a low-flow toilet. Outdoors, save water by mulching your garden, using a broom instead of a hose for cleaning, and checking hoses and sprinklers for leaks. When washing your car, use a bucket and rinse quickly, and for pools, keep water levels low to prevent unnecessary loss. For more water conservation tips, visit wsscwater.com/leaks. Every drop counts!
