Hello Neighbors,
I hope you're staying cool and are able to enjoy some time outdoors during an early morning walk, or with family and friends near the water. As the FY2024 fiscal year nears the end, I am grateful for your input and advocacy for things that are important to you and that benefit our community. It brings me joy to spearhead legislative and programmatic initiatives that help our community. The accomplishments of District 8 would not be possible without your contributions and support. Thank you for attending the Joy Zones, the Mental Health Symposium, the Credit Builder Program Open Houses, and community meetings. You have applied for and spread the word about the Burroughs Emerging Leaders Scholarships, attend youth events, and have shown up in droves to testify on legislation and initiatives; and I sincerely thank you! Please look for more information about upcoming programs and opportunities coming to your mailbox soon.
I wish you a FANTASTIC summer and look forward to seeing you in the community!
