SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING ALERT!
Hello Neighbors,
In partnership with Joan's House, Inc., I am offering scholarships to residents who are interested in pursing post-secondary education or training. The program will award six scholarships worth $10,000 each, named after notable figures in the County, to residents who have demonstrated academic excellence or civic engagement. Additionally, the remaining Burroughs Emerging Leaders Scholars will receive an award of $2,500.
These scholarships are an excellent opportunity for residents who are interested in continuing their education but may need financial assistance. The funds can help alleviate the financial burden for residents and families in Prince George's County.
The selection process will be based on academic merit, financial need, and community involvement. Therefore, residents who have shown excellence in academics, are involved in their community, or have demonstrated leadership skills are encouraged to apply.
If you or someone you know is a resident who needs financial assistance to pursue their education, do not hesitate to apply and spread the word!
