Weekly Food Distribution at St Stephen Baptist Church

Councilman Rodney C. Streeter was on hand Tuesday, May 25th for the latest St Stephen Baptist Church Food Distribution. The weekly event at the church in Temple Hills, feeds hundreds. During the more than two hours on-site the line had no end. Councilman Streeter told the waiting recipients "that's what community is all about..."

COVID Updates

COVID-19 Vaccination Site Information

The Health Department has announced its Cheverly and Laurel sites will no longer offer COVID vaccinations. The Cheverly site closed at the end of the day on Friday, May 21, and the Laurel-Beltsville Senior Activity Center site will close at the end of the day on Friday, May 28. The State of Maryland is now partnering with the Maryland Lottery in a new incentive to get residents vaccinated – Lottery Vaccine Awards. Cash prizes will be awarded every day starting May 25. A grand prize of $400,000 will be available to vaccinated Maryland residents ages 18 or older on July 4! All you have to do to enter is get vaccinated!
