The Presidential General Election

 

 

November 3, 2020 is the official date for the Presidential General Election. As we continue to face a global pandemic, many efforts have been made to make the election process as safe as possible.

 The following information will help you navigate this unparalleled voting cycle:

  • The Prince George's County Board of Elections encourages everyone to vote by mail in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Request a Vote by Mail Application for the November 3, 2020 Presidential General Election. You can also text “VBM” to 77788 to receive the application on your cell phone.

  •  

      If you have any questions or are unsure of the validity of the information that you’ve received, please contact the Prince George’s County Board of Elections on 301-341-7300 or email us on election@co.pg.md.us

  • The following are dates for the 2020 Presidential General Election and Early Voting
     
  •    Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020 (7am-8pm).
  •    Early Voting begins on Monday, October 26 and ends on Monday, November 2, 2020 (7am-8pm each day).
  • Voter Registration information: You may download an English Voter Registration Application (PDF)Spanish Voter Registration Application (PDF), or register to vote online.

Community Development Block Grant Amendment

 

On March 27, 2020, the United States Congress passed The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (H.R. 748). PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD FOR THE CDBG AMENDMENT TO 2019 ACTION PLAN

The Amendments to the 2019 Action Plan public review and comment period begins on August 31, 2020, and end September 4, 2020. A copy of the Amendment to the 2019 Action Plan can be found on the publications page of the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development at https://dhcd.maryland.gov/Pages/Publications.aspx. Maryland Nonprofit Recovery Initiative (NORI)

Application Deadline Extended to

September 1, 2020

 

The State of Maryland has extended the application deadline for the second round of the Maryland Nonprofit Recovery Initiative (NORI) and will accept applications until Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 5:00 PM.

 

Eligible nonprofit organizations can receive up to $50,000 in grant assistance for operational support. For more information, including eligibility requirements and application guidelines, visit https://dhcd.maryland.gov/Communities/Pages/DHCD-NOFA.aspx.

 

The deadline has also been extended to September 1 for licensees of the Maryland Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) and Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) applying for NORI assistance.
